How to be sexy....

Stand in line at any grocery store checkout and yes, there is at least one magazine that has suggestions on how us girls should be more sexy for our men.  sigh......

Why does the burden fall on us?  I dont see men's magazines with giant headlines, be sexier for your special someone with these 10 proven tips!  Never seen that, nope nu uh...course I've seen, take this pill and you and her will smile for hours....AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Sigh.....

We all know that we are not and will never be good enough.  The media has been telling us that forever.  Our thighs are not firm enough, we have belly fat, our boobs need giant super 'comfortable' underwire to keep them from tripping us, our butts, thank god are behind us and we cant see them, since they are to big, jiggly, cottage cheesy...  Damnit, we are ugly as sin!  So, we go to the gym, go to the plastic surgeon, buy life sucking spandex type material to hide it.  We do this because, afterall, we have to look good for our man.

WTF people.

Google, how to look good for your husband...205,000,000 in 19 seconds
How to look good for wife....About 399,000,000 results
(0.24 seconds)   But..wait a minute...first couple of results...fine...after that, and I do mean on the first page
6th from the top, What will make my wife look good, followed by Have photoshop, how to make your wife look good.  I AM NOT KIDDING PEOPLE!

Bookstores, self help sections geared towards women..womans magazines telling us we suck but we can improve, seminars, entire weekends devoted to making our marriage happy and wonderful and how to spice things up in the bedroom.

Perhaps I am missing something here..Women, have a job..some have more than one..working outside the house and taking care of the house and the kids and the husband.  But for me, I'm at home. I work more than my husband  2x more.. Course I dont get paid for it so it doesn't count..but that's another posting.

Hubby goes to work, comes home, eats dinner does whatever.
Mommy gets up and is working before even out of our jammies.  We prepare that delicious meal that we dont get told thanks for and then our evening continues until we put all the kids to bed and then the hubby wants some snuggling time.  Quick...you are tired...think back to that article you read in line at the store...how to please your man when your exhaused.  WHAT?????  How bout this for an article...hubby wants some lovin...you are exhausted..how to slap the shit out of him and get away with it!

Why is it up to us to make sure that our marriages are happy and wonderful. That the man of our life is happy and pleased in all ways.  Why are there seminars geared towards women and not men...articles how how to please our man, but not the other way around.  Why is it that if suddenly our hubby stops paying attention we start reading self help books..thinking, what did I do wrong, should I dye my hair, buy a new outfit, wrap myself in saran wrap?  (favorite all time scene from Fried Green Tomatoes)

Oh yes, the hubbies work hard...have to go to work every day..blah blah blah blah..bullshit.  We work twice as hard and twice as long.  and guess what else...when they retire, we dont get to!  We still have a house to take care of and laundry to do and errands to run!!

So her's a little bit of advice for the man in your life.

Men, husbands, boyfriends, whatever.....things slowing down in the bedroom, honey not paying as much attention to you as when you were first married, feel in a rut, lacking excitement, bored with the same old routine... Well, I have the answer for you!!!

Get off your ass and do something about it.

If you see your honey carrying full baskets of laundry upstairs, dont say, need help?...get up off your ass and run yes, run and say, here let me get those for you.

if you walk in and nothing is cooking in the kitchen, Dont' ask What's for dinner, say, Honey, can I make breakfast for dinner for all of us?  Yes, you have to ask first,  its not your kitchen its hers!

NEVER AND I MEAN NEVER walk in say hi, sit down at the computer to check your email and call down, do you want to come up and talk to me.  guess what the answer is stupid...NO. She m been busy all day, Has probably  just sat down..make the effort to care about HER, and walk your lazy ass down stairs and sit next to her and say Hi Babe..whats up.

Men..are you getting the point here...Put that woman up on a pedastal and never and I do mean never say anything about her growing backside...she did give birth to your children you know.

Want some lovin...clean the bathroom.

Life is very simple...we women are not at all complicated.  Look at us when we are telling you about the strange sound the vacuum made..it is not important to you, but it is to us and you should care what we care about.  Dont walk out of the room when we are talking to you and shout..i can still hear you.

Dinner, regardless of whether its awesome or a disaster, should be treated like a 9 course meal served at the best restaurant in the world.   and your woman should be rewarded accordingly.
Which means, for you silly, brain dead men, that you should kiss us on our forehead and say, wow, that was wonderful, when can we have it again, as you start to clear the table. I guarantee you will go to sleep with a smile on your face.

So, you notice a pattern..We, well most of us, do not need diamonds or roses or huge expensive vacations..yes, they are nice but that is not what makes us happy.  What truly makes us happy is you reminding us every day why we fell in love with you.  The opening of our car door, not honking the horn and yelling hurry up while revving the engine.  Smiling when we enter the room, even if we are still wearing yesterdays clothes.  If you get up and get yourself a drink, ask if we'd like one too? If you stop at the store, how bout asking us if we need anything.  ..I hope, I pray that you are getting the picture here..

Men, its simple...and does not take a lot of effort.  Be Nice.  Oh..that's from Roadhouse..with Patrick Swayze.  Be Nice.

And to all of those womens magazines telling us how to keep our man happy  BITE ME!

How much is to much?

We all know that when God was handing out parts, I stood in line at the gift of gab a little to long.  That's how I always looked at it.  When we were made we stood in line..some of us should have stood in line longer at some stations and other stood in line to long, or got back in line for seconds when they should have moved on.  :)

Anyway...I do so love to talk.  *shock* *gasp* (playing the part of mom, Lisa just fell over)  It is one of my favorite things to do...well wait..let me clarify.  I dont like to talk on the phone very often...sometimes, but, ok fine...most of the time I do.  Especially when I am folding laundry or cleaning etc etc.  Can you believe I dont like to talk when I am online gaming!

Actually, there are places I dont talk very much.  Some people who only see me in these places think that I am mean or angry or just plain rude cause I dont talk.  BWAHAHAHAHAHA!  Isn't that a riot!  The truth is I probably dont want to be there!!! so I am pouting!!!

I don't talk if I'm stressed out, KLP knows this from wrestling.  Can you believe there are some days I just don't talk to anyone outside of the required kids/hubby/dogs/cat/bird.

I love to telly stories...The Hamster story or the 40th birthday part story are my absolute favorite!  To fricking good to be true in my book, but honest they are. ( I could have so sworn there..my Mom isn't around to read this! NO!  She's not dead, she's on vacation)

I have had meaningful live altering conversations with the checkout at the supermarket.  I just met the guy at gamestop and wow did we have a great conversation.  He has two kids, 4 months and 20 months.  His dad keeps forgetting not to swear around the oldest.  His favorite word is now shit.  He wrestled in high school, has a very strong neck and goes to weight watchers on sundays instead of church.  Wow...He was a talker....

Once, in the parking lot of Target, a complete stranger started telling me how she was unfriending her daughter who though she was a lazy son of a bitch(the daughter though of the mother) cause after she got out of the hospital where she was cause her F-ing husband put her there....blah blah blah blah...
That was a VERY odd conversation...

Ok, people like to talk to me too...I wonder why?  I dont really care...I mean dont we all just sit there watching the other persons mouth move waiting for them to shut up so we can tell our story??  (The really annoying ones interrupt our story, after we patiently waited for them to shut up so they can tell more of theirs, or one up us.  *bitchslap*  )  or is it just me.  (ok, fine, I really dont do this, only to strangers)  Oh man.....my friends are so going to be annoyed at me now!  I swear...I dont do this very often!   I haven't had any good stories to tell lately!

If something is funny, I like to share it.  Why not make the stranger next to me laugh.  Maybe they are having a bad day?  In the locker room at the YMCA.  Wrapped in a towel...trying to  get dressed, turned to the elderly lady next to me and said, there just is no graceful way to put your underwear on under a towel....  I thought I gave her a stroke!  But maybe I brightened her day..or maybe I became her story of how a complete stranger came up to her hand naked and started talking about her underwear!  OMG!!!!  I'm the woman in the target parking lot!!!!!

Have I become one of 'those' moms?

As most of you know, Mom dont read this, C3 is still involved in wrestling..  See previous post regarding not breathing and all :)  Here.   So...He has continued wrestling after getting the Doctor's ok.  it has been difficult for  him to say the least.

He has lost every single match he has participated in.  I call each loss a learning experience.  Every time he has lost, he has learned how to counter a new move.  And each match we (he) tries to do something very specific.  We have been working on Standing up, which he gets a point for and not crying, there should be points awarded for that also.  May be not big in some peoples worlds, but in ours, its huge.  As for the crying thing, I have seen plenty of older kids crying at the end of matches, so it makes me feel a tiny bit better.

So, He has been learning, actually getting some points and having fun?  I don't know, he seems to like it even though he demands we leave and he's quitting after each match.  I don't blame him.  I let him vent then we go buy a Gatorade and get ready for the next one.

As previously stated in my last post about this, link above, this is the hardest thing I have ever had to do.  Console my child, listen to him vent, cry, sob, get angry and then send him back in where in 3 minutes we will do it all over again.  I know..Its what moms do.  We dont let our kids become quitters.  Life is tough...life is not fair...life is hard...you will spend years getting your ass kicked and you will have to still get out of bed each morning and move on.  One day, you will win, when, no one knows, but you dont give up...you keep trying, you never quit, and you play fair....

ahh...here is where I am leading to...playing fair.  People do not always play fair.  Children dont play fair, adults dont play fair, life is not fair.  When we were kids, and we complained that something was unfair our parents told us to suck it up and deal.  Either dont play with that kid or work it out.  I play by that same philosophy.  Life is not fair.  Teachers are not fair, I am not fair..suck it up..deal with it and move one.  Some times there are no solutions...you have to suffer through.

Wrong kid get sent to his/her room, oh well, deal with, life is not fair.
Boss, promotes dude that harvests crops all day...oh well life is not fair
kid next to you graduates first in his class but cheats on every test...oh well....blah blah blah

I am a firm believer that what goes around comes around.  Cheat through life and it will come back and bite you in the ass.  I also believe in letting it go...you got cheated, it sucks, nothing you can do about it? move on.

Now..on to Sundays meet.  C3 had a really good meet last weekend.  Got 9 point his last match and would have won if not for a mistake he made with an illegal hold, not mean, locked his hands, not allowed...and he didn't cry!!!  it was wonderful

So it was a stretch to fit in Sunday's meet as it was the same day we were celebrating my Dad's 70th bday...but I really wanted him to go because he now had a taste of near victory..of something other than being on his back the whole time.

So, his first match...I was close by due to asthma stuff.. He has requested that I be close by but I dont shout out instructions...I'm just there in case he needs me.  His fear of not being able to breath is almost gone.  He has done wonderfully!  I told him that if he gets winded during a match and he's on his stomach (either that or his back is where hs spends all of his time) to take a second and take a break.  Catch his breath...its been awesome for him!

So...his first match...was going good...then next thing I know he's on his back.  No big deal.  He's there a lot, he knows how to get out of it.  its actually very funny.  Kind of three stooges like.  he rolls to his side an starts running in circles on the mat.  Makes me laugh out loud every time he does it!  This time is different though.  All his coach and I can see is the legs of him and the boy.  C3's legs are panicking.  Jumping up and down...he is panicking.  C3 doesn't panic about getting pinned.  He's always getting pinned.

Ref hits the mat calls it a pin.  Boys stand up.  C3 is blue...lips and all..blue...he's holding his nose, mouth wide open half crying half gasping.  I find it odd.. Honestly, the blue thing doesn't bother me.  he will breathe..Its ok.  But its odd.  So, he comes over to me after shaking hands with the kid and the other coach, and he's holding his nose.  I figure he got elbowed in the nose or something like that.  it happens.  We walk off so he can regain in composure.  then I find out that the other boy, while on top of him pinning him, which is difficult for C3 in the first place, breathing thing and getting squished and all, PINCHED HIS NOSE SHUT!

this is the inside of my head after I clarified what C3 just told me  ARE YOU F-ING KIDDING ME...WHERE IS THAT KID...I'M GOING TO RIP HIS ......etc etc etc.

The the outside of me proceeded to tell C3 how sorry I was that his first opponent was a low down dirty cheater and how proud of him I was for not cheating or resorting to violence against his opponent.

Well, the rest of the day went down hill from there.  His fear of not being able to breath, which was gone, was now back full force.  He basically refused to move the rest of the matches...and I didn't blame him in the least.  He was scared!

Then, I did the mom unthinkable.  On the car ride the way home.  We were discussing his day.  How difficult it was for him, how upsetting it was for him and myself.  That's when I did it.  I told my beautiful good natured red headed little boy, that if anyone every does that to him again, to start beating the shit out of him. To start punching him as fast as he could.  Imagine the dead silence from the back seat.  I explained my reasoning.  It was obvious that C3's coach couldn't see what was going on and the ref was focusing on C3's shoulders and the mat, so he didn't see it either.  Now, if C3 starts punching the kid, the ref will see that or at least the other coach and they will have a fit.  The ref will stop the match to warn C3.  This will then give C3 a chance to tell the ref and his coach what the kid was doing.  I know...tattling is now allowed...WHATEVER.  Then C3 can decide if he wants to continue to wrestle this little shit, or walk over and call him a cheating bastard and forfeit, which I would NOT fault him for!

Yes, I know, I just gone done saying that life is not fair and you cannot quit...which is true, however, this case is different.  He is there to participate in a sport...to participate fairly, to do his best with what he has been taught.

Kids cheat...its not fair, I get that.  However, this kid went beyond cheating.  This kid caused my child to fear for his life.  If you fear for your life, then you had damn well better walk away.

Self preservation my friend.  Trumps all!

When is enough, enough

I have always had an open door policy..Anyone can come over at any time...if they want to share out table, go for it.  I always have enough food etc etc to go around.

Well....C1's 'girlfriend' seems to be taking advantage of this..or maybe it just annoys me cause she is a girl and they are 14?  UGHHH

Let me back up a bit.  First, I dont think you can say two 14yr old are 'dating'.  Its just a term they use.  I think they use it to scare the hell out of us while it really means nothing at all.  This 14 yr old does not have  a very good home life.  Not abusive but 0 supervision and caring, etc etc.  You know where I live, well, she lives down by the river and quite often shows up at my house after dark after walking by herself, never seems to have a curfew...often locked out cause they are not home...lost power for weeks when it was getting cold out...etc etc.

Great...just went downstairs, all the kids are down there, and found them SNUGGLYING in the big chair.  THEY KNOW THIS IS AGAINST THE RULES!

Now C1 is grounded for his grades, she knows this, yet keeps just stopping by.  I know she is walking...what am I supposed to do???

Do I tell her no and let her wander around in the cold and wet without even a winter jacket to keep her warm.  Let her walk the 1+ mile home in the dark alone?

GROWL!!!
Now hubby will come home and give me an earful...telling me I'm to soft...I let him get away with anything etc etc.  I'd like to see what he would do when she shows up at the door two seconds after he gets home, its raining and cold and dinner time...I'd like to see him turn her away...

BTW  this is the second time she has showed up TODAY....

Why do we put ourselves through this.....

Today I attended my very first wrestling match with C3.  I have decided that I HATE wrestling.

I thought I would't like football...compared to wrestling, I LOVE football.

Let be preface this with this statement...I am not a competitive person.  AT ALL.  C1 is not a sports kids, C2 was a sports kid until it got competitive, then she quit cause she is to much like me.  C3, VERY COMPETITIVE.  And every time I type that word, I spell it wrong...see Karma at its best.

Most of you know that C3 is an asthmatic.  (spelled that wrong to )  He is not your typical asthmatic...he doesn't have typical asthma attacks.  He will be running around in the backyard but having severe trouble breathing and not know it.  Its kinda a pain.

He wanted to play football this year...I said ok.  I have always said that my kids can try everything once.  Except when he asked to the ski jumping...I said NO!  I signed him up for football and was there at every practice just in case.  No I was not one of those moms and I apologize in advance if you are.  I just am not.  I sat at my car well away from where they were working out.  I didn't want to watch my son get pummeled nor did I want to listen to some strange man yell at my son.   So, I stayed away, but there.

Now he's into wrestling.  I figured, well if he could do football wearing all of those pads and giant helmet in 95 degree heat, he could handle wrestling.  Maybe it was me I was thinking could handle it.  I go to every practice, but I sit in the hallway and knit.  I dont really pay attention.  I'm just there.  Practice is difficult but fun to watch. They do cute little moves and jump around and tumble and fun stuff.

Then came his first meet.  He lost all three matches? is that what they are called, but thats ok.  His first match I think he didn't know what to expect so he lost.  The second match he was seriously kicking butt.  I mean he was treating the other kid like a tackling dummy!  It was beautiful to watch.  He was having a blast.  Every time that kid stood up, C3 dove for his legs and took him down again.  He wasn't sure what to do with him once he got him down, but that's ok.  It was fun to watch.  And just an fyi...his coaches had his inhaler at matside should he need it and they have been instructed.  I dont sit close by during these..We were about half way up the bleachers.  So, ref stands them up again, and C3 turns to walk towards the center and he is blue.  Ok, maybe more PURPLE, but BLUE or PURPLE is a BAD color to be!  KLP yells behind me, he's BLUE, I grab hubby and yell, 'HE CANT BREATH'.  Hubby didn't touch one step the entire way down as he flew to C3's side.  I grabbed my purple bag of med stuff and fly down after him.  For whatever reason, there was a complete open path between me and the ground level.  It was odd, either people saw what was going on or I stepped on top of people on the way down. :)  Sorry if you were one of them!

I get to him as they coaches are reaching for his inhaler.  They boy is now hyperventilating(holy crap, spelled that right the first time).  He's breathing but very shallow and crying.  I know the inhaler will do him any good now since he's gasping for breath...Dont worry, he lives and withing 10 minutes his color is  back to normal. And get this...he only had 2 seconds left to the match, so he went out there gasping and crying for the last two seconds and tried to tackle the guy again.  You see my problem here...can't breath but still fighting.

As I said, he's fine...he was breathing normal again very shortly afterwords and wrestled in his third match.  (I was on the bottom bleacher that time).    UGH!!!

I dont like this..not one little bit.  Upon reflection, I believe that it was more of a panic thing than anything else.  I think he got extremely winded (he said he got squished by the other boy) and then forgot to breath.

The rest of the meet was a very difficult one for me.  Do I let him wrestle, do we quit, is he in danger, will his arm get bent behind his back so far it pops off?  I mean HOLY CRAP.  Who invented this sport anyway!??!!

No, that didn't actually happen to anyone today, but still. It looks horrible.  This is a stupid sport.  Its not like C3 is going to become a professional wrestler.  The only pro wrestlers are in the WWE or something like that  and over my dead body will he do that!

Why in the world am I subjecting myself to this mental anguish...not to mention sitting in extremely hot and smelly gyms for 4 hours every Sunday.   I know this is supposed to teach them stuff, like winning and losing and discipline and self control.  (especially after he pinched the boy in his last match on purpose!)  But honestly, I hate this sport.  Its horrible, its barbaric.  However, he will continue to participate (sorry mom).  He might not do as many meets as the other kids, but he will do the practices and matches will be watched very very closely.  I dont want to teach him to be a quitter.  Things are hard in life, painful and scary.  We dont have the option of walking away and going home when that happens.  We have to face it head on.  We have to deal with the pain, the days we fell that we cannot catch our breath.  I have to teach him that too...figuratively and literally.  (spelled both those right the first time)  But damnit this sucks.  I dont want to do this.  He's my last child...my little boy, my baby.  I want to hug him and hold him and cuddle him and enjoy his youth even if he doesn't want to.   Instead, I will be the good mom, I will wake him up at 6am on a Sunday, get him dressed, pack a cooler, warm the car, help him check in and pray that he doesn't not die while he wrestles.

Life Sucks.

A change of pace...

In light of my recent round of bitchiness...I have decided to tell a funny story...one that I was reminded of recently.  I dont think many have heard this one.

It happened about 4 yrs ago.

Having three kids, its only natural for parents to lose their minds and buy them a pet...ours was a hamster.  A master escape artist that was moved to an old fish tank to keep him from being eaten by our new puppy and because on his last escape, he chewed a huge hole in my wall.  His name was Ben.  Ben lived quite a long time in our house...about 3 yrs.  He was cute, fuzzy and smelly.  He was a riot when we put him in his ball and the dog batted him around the basement!  Oh. come on...thats just plain funny!

Well, one evening after the kids were in bed, I noticed that Ben was not in his house.  I picked him up and he as slightly cold.  Not a good sign for a hamster.  The next day when the older kids got home from school, I told them that I didn't think Ben was going to be with us much longer and perhaps they wanted to spend some time holding him.  Fist up was C1.  A very sensitive little boy who loves everything!.

So, He's sitting on the couch with Ben in his lap, sobbing, C1, not the hamster.   C1 asks if he can call the vet and ask about Ben.  Of course, this is the last think I really want to do, but being the good parent, I say sure, and dial up the vet and hand the phone over to C1.  God Bless the people at the vet.  They were so nice to C1, who was crying on the phone telling them that his hamster was dying.  Then, C1 asks if we can bring Ben to them.  DOH!  Didn't see that one coming!  All I could picture is $82 bucks out the window on a stupid dying hamster.  But, again, being the good parent, we load everyone up in the car and head out.  Now, C1 and C2 are in the way way back of the car and C1 is holding Ben in his lap crying as we are driving to the vet.  C2 is crying also and C3 who is about three years old is very excited about a train passing by.

Suddenly, C1 cries out that Ben is breathing all funny!  OH Shit!  I so do not need Ben dying in C1's lap.  And, C1 is in the way way back....I can't reach him.  So, i do the next best thing...I tell C1 to wrap Ben up in the dishtowel his is resting in and kinda toss him up to me.  Yes, I know....ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwww..but its all part of being a mom right!.

So now we are still driving to the vets office with C1 and C2 sobbing in the way way back, C3 shouting about a train, and me with a dying hamster in my lap!  LORDY!

We pull into the vets parking lot, and I kid you not, the damn thing dies right there and then!  I inform the kids that Ben didn't make it and I was going to go into the office and let them know.  I also figured as long as I was there, I could put up puppies heart worm meds.  So I go in and tell them thank you very much, but Ben died in their parking lot.  With that C1 comes in the door and asks if Ben is alive again.  All I could picture was them pulling out the little hamster paddles, yelling 'CLEAR' and shocking him back to live!  I almost burst out laughing.  It was horrible!  I tell C1 no, I"m sorry, Ben is still dead.  Actually, I had left Ben on the front seat of the car, just didn't tell them that.

So, now we are on our way home.....C1 and C2 are sobbing, C3 is so excited because another train is driving by and I have a DEAD hamster in my lap.

Now to add insult to injury...I must not have been paying attention to something because next thing I know there is a cop behind me with his lights on.  ARE YOU KIDDING ME!  So, I pull over, trying to figure out how to explain the sobbing children and the dead rodent in my lap.

Offices walks up to my car, I'm sure wondering about the sobbing children...look in the widow at them, C3 is now excited cause there are flashing lights behind us.  Cops looks in my window....doesn't speak, looks in the back seat, glances at the dead hamster in my lap...pauses....says, 'Good Luck' and walks away.   He must have been a dad too!  Can you just imagine what he said back at his cop house?!!!!

So, we arrive back home...C3, not getting the concept of death, wants to put Ben back in his house, the puppy wants to eat it and C1 and C2 are still sobbing.

Hubby comes home...we have a funeral.  Now, it hadn't rained for about 78 years, so the ground is like a rock.  Hubby gets our pick axe to start a hole.  C1, make a death shroud out of paper towels.  I was not burying my dishtowel!  We put Ben in the hole, and start filling with dirt.  C2 reminds hubby to leave enough room for him to breath....hubby fills hole and stops down on the top to level it out...C2 yells at him to stop because he's squishing him!

Hubby looks at me...says what's for dinner....You know how sometimes we can actually get a death ray laser look to shoot out of our eyes for certain infractions......

We had McDonalds for dinner that night.

What is my role in all this....?

As some of you, ok many of you, I dont care who knows it anymore, my husband was laid off for the second time in two years.  Hey, people in foreign companies need jobs too right. *grumble*

Maybe he should market himself as the new Extraordinaire Outsourcing Job Trainer!

But here I am again...although a little different.  Last time he was unemployed, it was summer and I had the kids to keep me active.  This time, kids are in school and he is in my house all day! AT MY KITCHEN TABLE!

So, what is my role now?  I am still mom, chauffeur, Nurse, Homework helper, Laundry Technician, etc etc etc...but now I am also The Ego stoker too.

Dont get me wrong....I do understand what he is going through..I was once laid off of my professional job.  It sucked and was embarrassing..but we had another income, so we survived.  I get it more than he knows that we are in dire straights.  Well, not quite...but in a blink of an eye, we could be living out of our car.  I think most people are in the same boat.  You can survived a month or two and then...  We can survived a bit longer than that and I have full confidence that we will be employed before we start picking out who will sleep in which car.

I digress.. again....as usual...

My husband is home.. at my kitchen table for 18 hours a day, looking for jobs.  YIPPEEE!  but it took me a week of nagging for him to get one bin down out of the attic.  Do you see my frustration here?  I know he has to look for a job and the only way we will be employed again, is for him to sit at my kitchen table for 18 hours a day looking for one...but damnit..Can you get the two bins out of the garage and put them in the attic for me.

This sounds so petty and stupid.  Did I mention that he is at my kitchen table 18 hours a day 7 days a week.  Am I asking to much...for five minutes here and there to help me with something?  Do I feel guilty for being so petty and annoyed at him for not helping me around the house when he is in the house?  I mean you heard the dryer buzz, why can't you just take 3 minutes to switch loads...I will fold it but come one.

This is petty and stupid. I am annoyed and cranky.  I swear right here and now...when my husband finds a new job, if they outsource it again, I will personally find the guy that ordered it and bitch slap him!
